Which service fits your project?

We cover the whole job around a structural opening: the engineer's design, approvals, temporary works, the steel itself and making good. Pick the service closest to your project, or start with load-bearing wall removal if you are not sure.

Choosing the right service

Which service do I need if I just want a wall taken out?

Start with load-bearing wall removal or, if it is between a kitchen and dining room or two reception rooms, the knock-through pages. The survey confirms whether the wall is structural and what steel it needs.

Do you only fit the steel, or the whole job?

Either. Most people want the whole job: calculations, approvals, propping, steel, fire protection and making good. We also fit steel for builders and homeowners who already have calculations and approval in place.

Can you work alongside my builder or kitchen fitter?

Yes. We can do the structural part of a larger project and hand a clean, inspected opening back to the main contractor, kitchen fitter or glazing installer.

Do you install steel for commercial premises?

Yes, for shops and small commercial buildings: opening units together, new shopfront openings and replacing failed beams. Larger structural steel frames for warehouses and industrial buildings are outside what we do.
