Surveys, quotes and work: S&K Group Holdings Ltd passes your enquiry to S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, its group company that carries out the work. S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd is the controller from the point it contacts you to arrange a survey, quote or work, and keeps your customer records.

Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with: S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, which receives your enquiry from S&K Group Holdings Ltd to arrange your survey and quote; the structural engineer, building control body and, where relevant, party wall surveyor for your job; our installation teams and subcontractors working on your job; and service providers who process data for us, including our form delivery service (Web3Forms), live chat provider (Tawk.to), analytics provider (Google Analytics, only with consent), website host (Netlify) and email providers. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes those messages under its own terms. Some providers process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
We do not sell personal information or use it for automated decision-making.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not go ahead: up to 24 months
- Customer records, quotes, contracts and job paperwork: 6 years after the work is completed, longer where building records need to be kept for the property
- Analytics data: as set in our analytics retention settings, up to 14 months
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time, including through the cookie settings. Contact info@steelbeaminstallers.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we would like the chance to put things right first.
